Upon inspection, we identified multiple factors affecting the system’s performance. The condenser unit was partially obstructed by dirt and debris, reducing heat dissipation and causing the compressor to overwork. Additionally, the blower fan inside the indoor unit was coated with dust, restricting airflow and unevenly distributing cool air. A pressure test revealed that the refrigerant level was below the recommended threshold, likely due to minor leaks in the copper piping. The thermostat settings were also misconfigured, leading to inefficient cycling and excessive energy consumption. To resolve these issues, we performed a deep cleaning of the condenser unit to restore optimal heat exchange. The blower fan was cleaned to improve airflow, and the refrigerant was refilled to manufacturer specifications after sealing minor leaks. We also reprogrammed the thermostat to ensure accurate temperature regulation and prevent unnecessary system strain.
